Watercolor has become my favorite 2D media to work in - I love working back and forth with it, playing off of it with other media to create color, texture and mood; and I find it to be the most portable of materials to throw in your bag and play with wherever you are.

This class is for all levels, and beginner friendly. No experience necessary; just your willingness to play, learn and explore!

During the workshop we will cover:

• Types of materials (along with my favorite, must have go-tos)

• What makes watercolor different from other paints

• Learn basic techniques to get you going

• Discuss a bit about the magic of color and color theory

• Play and experiment with materials

• Practice painting from life

  
  

The main focus will be working with watercolor and its foundation, while also incorporating gouache, pencil, pencil, and some of the different ways you can branch off from those methods.

Paper and materials for use in class will all be provided, but feel free to bring any media you would like to work with in addition. 

Cancellations/Refunds

Things happen, I totally understand. In order to honor both your time and mine, I have setup the following refund policy:

• Cancel by October 23 (2 weeks out): Full Refund

• Cancel by October 30 (1 week out): Half Refund

• From then up until 48 hours before class: No cash refund, but can rollover towards future classes.
