Paintings & Illustration

Some of my favorite 2D media to work in are micron and watercolor or gouache. I'm forever inspired by the natural world and love capturing light & texture. When I can, I love participating in Mab Graves' "Drawlloween" prompts every October. Often I only get to complete a few days, but one year I actually managed to do all 31 days. It was magnificent, and so hard - I was spent by the end. But regardless the always fire up delicious visions and have inspired some of my favorite illustrations, melding folklore, myth, and story with threads of the world around us.
